Laura Gurzynski-Weiss and I (Kyria Finardi) invite everyone to think together about the danger of a single language in this event promoted by Abralin ( abralin.org ) in partnership with the International Permanent Commission on Linguistics ( ciplnet.com ), the Association of Linguistics and Philology of Latin America ( mundoalfal.org ), the Argentine Society for Linguistic Studies ( sael.com.ar ), the International Applied Linguistics Association ( aila.info ), the European Linguistics Society ( societaslinguistica.eu ), the Linguistics Society of America ( linguisticsociety.org ), the Linguistics Association of Great Britain ( lagb.org.uk ), the Linguistics Society of Australia ( als.asn.au/ ) and the British Society for Applied Linguistics ( baal. org.uk ) at the event Abralin ao Vivo – Linguist Online. The objective of this event is to promote free access to topics of common interest, opening space for discussion on topics related to the study of human language during the difficult period of the pandemic. Participate and help publicize this important initiative by Abralin in partnership with associations in the area.
